Your privacy and trust are very important to EasyInspect. This Statement explains how EasyInspect (“EasyInspect,” “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, handles, stores and protects personal information about you in the context of our services. It also provides information about your rights and about how you can contact us if you have questions about how we handle your information. Our ambition is full transparency as to how we handle your data and the choices you have in this regard.
EasyInspect is a Danish Company with headquarter in Brøndby, Denmark, and thus within Europe. We comply with Danish Privacy Act and the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force on May 25th, 2018. Regarding certain personal data being transferred to the US, such transfer is regulated by the EC/US privacy protection framework.

Scope and Acceptance
This statement covers all business areas of EasyInspect including web pages, databases, mobile Apps, Cloud Services and Social Media published by third parties, e.g. the EasyInspect page on Facebook.
The statement provides information as to how data is handled, both when EasyInspect decides the purpose with and the means to collect the data (EasyInspect as data controller) and when EasyInspect processes data from our customers or third parties (Customer/third party as data controller and EasyInspect as data processor)
Personal data is information which identify you as person, such as email address, home address, phone number, Social Security number etc. Collection and handling of these data is necessary for us to serve you as customer and all of our other customers. By providing us these data, you accept the data handling described in this statement. If you don’t agree to this, you must refrain from using EasyInspect homepages, Facebook page and other services.
Whose data do we handle? (Data subjects)
EasyInspect handles personal data from our customers and their employees and business partners and subcontractors, including personal firms, our own employees, any job seeking persons and other users of our services. Our statement in this regard is described further in the section “EasyInspect as Data Controller” below.
In this statement terms other than “data subjects” include “persons”, “the customer”, “users” or “you”.
EasyInspect as Data Processor
In case EasyInspect acts as data processor, processing data controlled by a third party, EasyInspect will comply with the obligations defined in the data processor agreement entered with said third party. Also, we ensure you, that we will not perform activities or execute orders which we believe will constitute a breach of national law or the EC General Data Protection Regulation or otherwise violate your rights or privacy.
EasyInspect as Data Controller
When EasyInspect defines the purpose with and the means how to collect data, EasyInspect is defined as Data Controller. The data we handle is registered, because you sign up as user of our services, receiver of our newsletters, is an employee, is seeking a job with our company, uses our services, or is employed in a company who uses our services.
The reason we register your personal information
In order to manage and service a customer relation - and to fully comply with our obligations - EasyInspect requires some information from you as user of our services, or as the customers point of contact. The reasons for this are:
- To provide information about offers, content and services, which customers - or potential new customers - would want.
- To provide information about offers and services related to services already used by customers.
- To provide content and services according to the agreement with the customer.
- To provide suppor to users of our services.
- To enhance quality of our offers, services and web pages/social media.
- To detect and prevent security risks and perform updates/debugging.
- To prevent misuse of our offers and services.
- To communicate information relevant for our specific services and customer relations.
- To process orders, invoicing, payments and customer follow-up.
- To manage customer access to our digital platforms and cloud services.
- In order to exercise our rights, and to defend ourselves from claims and to comply with laws and regulations that apply to us or third parties with whom we work
Registration of data according to the purposes mentioned above is necessary for us to provide full service of our customers. We do not consider these purposes as a disadvantage to you, hence we will not ask for further permission from you to handle your personal data.

This registration is based on your free consent. Your consent can be giving freely on all web pages managed by EasyInspect, and where necessary.
Please note, that registration of your personal data is a prerequisite for obtaining access to many of our products and services. To protect both your and our own security, we also register your information, when visiting our digital platforms. You will receive information about your rights in this regard, when visiting and registering in our electronic system.
How we collect your personal information
Normally, we will receive the information directly from you or from a point of contact with our customer.
In some cases we collect information from other legitimate sources, but as a general rule only, if you have given permission to these sources to share your data. These sources could be third party data collectors, EasyInspect marketing partners, public sources, or social media with third parties e.g. Facebook. EasyInspect might combine such personal data from one source with data from another source. In this way we will obtain a more detailed customer profile and the possibility to provide a more relevant service with a higher level of personal attention.

EasyInspect uses a range of technologies to collect information about your online activities on our webpages and digital platforms, including areas of interest and preferences, made available by you.
A cookie is a small harmless text file that is placed on a computer or other device and is used to identify the user or device and to collect information. Cookies are typically assigned to one of four categories, depending on their function and intended purpose: absolutely necessary cookies, performance cookies, functional cookies, and cookies for marketing purposes. Automatic Marketing tools
Google Analytics: This cookie gives us information about activities our users perform on our pages and platforms, e.g. pages visited, souce and time spent on each visit. This information is not identifiable, and is shown as series of numbers which cannot be traced back to your person. This helps to protect your privacy. By using Google Analytics we can monitor what is most popular on our pages and strive to give our users more content they find interesting.
Google Analytics Remarketing: Places cookies on your computer allowing for ads from Google about EasyInspect after leaving our pages. Such ads could be of interest to you based on your areas of focus during previous visits. This information is not identifiable to you as person.
Google AdWords: Helps us to identify, which pages helped a user to navigate to sent in contact formulas, hence help us decide where we optimally invest our marketing budget. This information is not identifiable to you as person.

What types of personal information we collect
The type of personal information we collect depends on how you are interacting with us and which Services you are purchasing or using.
In many cases, you can choose whether or not to provide us with personal information, but if you choose not to, you may not get full functionality from the Services.
The personal information we collect consists of the following:
- Name and contact data, such as, first and last name, email address, postal address, phone number, and other similar contact data.
- Information about your job title, department, and professional field of interest.
- Account Credentials, such as, passwords and other security information for authentication and access.
- User content, such as, communications and files provided by you in relation to your use of the Services, e.g. feedback, questions, text or pics you have uploaded.
- Payment information, such as, payment card number (credit or debit card), and the security code associated with your payment instrument, if you make a payment.
- Device information, such as, information about your device, such as IP address, location or provider.
- Usage information and browsing history, such as, information about how you navigate within our Services, your browsing history and which elements of our Services you use the most.
- Location data, for Services with location-enhanced features. If we need your consent to collect geo-location data, we will collect this separately.
- Demographic information, such as, your country, and preferred language.
- Clickstream information, i.e links you click on and when
- Other personal data available on your social media profiles, e.g. Facebook.
If you post a comment on a public available media or on a EasyInspect page, such information will be readable for everyone with access to these places and could be used by for purposes outside ours and yours control. EasyInspect disclaims any responsibility for such information posted publicly or on our pages.
EasyInspect will not publicize your private comments etc. without your prior consent.
As data controller we do not handle sensitive personal information about you (race, ethnicity, political, religious or philosophical position, union relationship, genetic data, biometric data or information of sexual nature).
How we share your personal data
EasyInspect collaborates with sister companies within our Corporate Group, and it is likely that EasyInspect customers also are or could become customers in one or more of our sister companies. It is crucial for us to provide you our best services and customer experience. We will share your personal data between our sister companies to create an overview as to which customers and which of our companies have a relation. The purpose of this is to have quick access to your relevant information, and not to contact you more than necessary.
EasyInspect do not share your personal information with third parties, who wishes to use your information for marketing purposes, unless you give us your permission to this. EasyInspect might share your personal information with third parties for other reasons, but only in these cases:
EasyInspect might share your information with business partners if this is legitimate from a professional perspective. E.g. if you buy a product or service on behalf on one of your employees, which we deliver through a certified partner.
The Police and other public entities might demand disclosure of certain personal data. However, EasyInspect will only disclose such information if demanded by law or Court order.
Merger and Acquisitions(M&A)
In case of M&A of a third party company or sale of our company, or some its business areas, such third party company and involved consultants such as accountants and lawyers, might get access to our registered data, and in some case this could include your personal information. In these cases the third party company and consultants would be bound by a Non-Disclosure-Agreement and professional standards not to disclose your information ensuring your privacy.
You may have rights under European and other laws to have access to your personal information and to ask us to rectify, erase and restrict use of, your personal information. You may also have rights to object to your personal information being used, to ask for the transfer of personal information you have made available to us and to withdraw consent to the use of your personal information. Further information on how to exercise your rights is set out below.
We will honor your rights under applicable data protection laws. You have the following rights under European laws, and may have similar rights under the laws of other countries.
The right to reject marketing communication
You can reject the possibility to receive marketing communication from EasyInspect, which is done like this:
a) Follow the instruction for rejection in the marketing communication (typically a link), or
b) Change your on-off settings on the relevantEasyInspect account, or
c) Contact us by email with your wishes
Please note, that even though you reject marketing from EasyInspect, you will still receive administrative messages from us, account information, e.g. confirmations and change of passwords.
The right to insight and rectification of information
You have the right to ask for a copy of your registered personal data. Just contact us for such request.
You can also demand, that inaccuracies or incorrect information in your personal data be corrected or removed. These rights are not absolute and they do not always apply in all cases.
In response to a request, we will ask you to verify your identity if we need to, and to provide information that helps us to understand your request better. If we do not comply with your request, whether in whole or in part, we will explain why.
How we secure personal information
EasyInspect takes your trust in us very seriously. We do our utmost to prevent unauthorized access, publication or other misuse of your personal data. Besides this, EasyInspect will ensure correct use of your data, and that your data are not falsified and that your data are available when needed. To secure data, we use appropriate physical, technological and administrative measures and procedures. EasyInspect has implemented a range of security measures, for instance:
- Safe operation. EasyInspect stores your data on secure servers, only accessible by dedicated EasyInspect staff, and only when strictly necessary. We
comply with present industrial standards for data security.
- Encrypted payment information and certain other personal information.
- Hourly backup of all registered data, making it possible always to restore any data lost if needed.
Please note, these security measures do not protect from misuse of information you choose to publicize on publically available pages and platforms.
How long we keep personal information
EasyInspect only keeps your information as long as it is necessary for its purpose, e.g. an existing customer relation and when demanded by law.
This means, we can keep your information in a reasonable period after your last transaction with us. When personal data gathered no longer are necessary according to these parameters, we delete the data in a secure way. Some data are kept further for statistic reasons, but are then anonymized and untraceable to your person.
Subcontractors and export of personal data
EasyInspect may use subcontractors to handle your personal data, and we may export your and our other customers data outside the EC. These subcontractors are typically cloud service companies and IT hosting companies. If such subcontractors are used, we will secure your privacy through a data processor agreement to protect your personal rights and to comply with our obligations towards our customers.
If data are processed outside Europe, we will make sure that the data processor agreement comply with EC contractual standards, or that the data processor is certified according to the EC/US Privacy Shield Framework, if the processor operates from the US.
Updates to this statement
This Statement may be subject to updates.If we make changes in this statement we will update the statement on this page and mark the revision date. We suggest that you read the statement on a regular basis.
