A guide to your first inspection.


1. Get your data ready

The first step for any inspection is to get some images for uploading.
Please be aware that data collection must follow specific rules if a 3D model should be created. A guide for acquisition for 3D can be found here.


2. Create the inspection

Login to your tenant and click the "Create inspection" button. Only required field is the name. You can call the inspection anything you want, just make sure it's descriptive so you can identify it in the future.


Next, select the inspection type. The inspection type can't be changed later and is used for custom fields which is available in Basic and Pro packages.


3. Upload data

When the inspection has been created, it's just an empty placeholder waiting for data to be uploaded. Click the upload images button and select the folder with all images in it or the individual files. Multiple files can be selected at once. Click the upload button and wait for the data to be transferred. 



4. Order 3D model

If your data contains GPS data and is suitable for 3D modeling you may now order a 3D model on the 3D modeling tab. 3D models provide a lot of extra features like measurements and localization of damages. If your data is not suited for 3D modeling, you may skip this part.



Click on the "Order" button on 3D modelling. When you order 3D modeling you will not be able to upload new images or delete existing ones. Before you continue, make sure that you have uploaded all the images you need for this inspection. Click "I understand, continue".


Select a template to use for your 3D modeling. In most cases we recommend the "Medium geometric precision".

Click "Go to checkout". Review the information and click "Complete order".


5. Order analysis

You can do manually review and analyses of your inspection (step 6), or let the Artificial Intelligence (AI) do the hard work by ordering analysis. You will get the best results if you order analysis after you have ordered the 3D model since all the detections can be grouped. 




Click the "Order" button on Analysis and select which AI model you would like to use. Click "Next" and select which mesh you would like to use for grouping.
Click "Next" and review the checkout before you click "Start analysis". 


6. Review and annotate

Your data is now ready to be reviewed by you or an expert. Click on "Tools" in the left menu and start the review. 


7. Create a report

All you need now is to generate a report and share it with your team or customer.


Click on "Reports" -> "Generate a new report".
Give the report a name and select a template.
Click "Create report".
